MAZE EXPERIENCE | THE HOME DEPOT
The Home Depot was looking for a unique way to engage media with a fun, interactive experience that showed off their smart home offerings. I concepted and designed an invite-only event that encouraged direct interaction with smart home products, through an interactive maze experience. Participants used smart home products to solve puzzles and negotiate the challenges of six fully furnished, futuristic rooms in a 4000 square foot space. Challenges included a smart camera puzzle, a hidden visual message that could only be read under the correct colored smart lighting, a turntable that played a vinyl audio clue and more. An integrated, reactive sound and light room provided a an area for social sharing and the entire experience ended with a reception space with catering and vendors offering hands-on demos of additional products.
